Toxics Link’s (TL) goal is to develop standardised training modules and get waste management included in medical and para medical curriculum. To spread awareness, TL has conducted many training programmes for trainers. Recurrent feedback has established the need for comprehensive documented information and resource material.
 Toxics Link has compiled a manual titled ‘Understanding and simplifying bio-medical waste management: A training manual for trainers’. This is a manual for trainers and managers in hospitals and other institutions to conduct training on hospital waste management. This resource provide a convenient and up-to-date training resource that will allow interested people and trainers to increase awareness on waste management and related issues in their organisation. The training manual has six sections and a CD that has presentations on each section. |
