Position:   Program Coordinator

Toxics Link is an environmental NGO, dedicated to bringing toxics related information into the public domain, both relating to struggles and problems at the grassroots as well as global information to the local levels. We work with other groups around the country as well as internationally in an understanding that this will help bring the experience of the ground to the fore, and lead to a more meaningful articulation of issues. Toxics Link also engages in on-the ground work especially in areas of municipal, hazardous, medical, e-waste, plastic waste and management and food safety among others. Working in networks, utilizing community outreach and education, policy analysis, research, training and program development, we work at the state and central levels to help create solutions, which are driven by the needs of people. We are also involved in a wider range of environmental issues in Delhi and outside as part of a coalition of non-governmental organizations.






  • To devise specific strategies for program development and implementation.
  • To develop specific campaigns on  chemicals safety and its health and environmental impacts,
  • To Draw up policy briefs and analyse policy.
  • To undertake independent research on environmental issues, analyse information and data.
  • To identify and develop test protocols for chemicals and materials.
  • Interaction with testing labs and ascertaining their suitability for testing of chemicals, contaminants and adulterants.
  • To engage with stakeholders and partners at multiple levels and build networks
  • To represent Toxics Link in various national and international fora.




o   Should posses a PhD  in chemistry or environmental science from any recognized university.

  • Should have minimum three years of working experience in development sector, previous experience in environmental sector( Chemicals) will be an advantage
  • Should have a sound knowledge of scientific equipment used in labs.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills andbe a team player.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to work independently.
